Help Time on lock screen is squished!

My wife's new Epic 4G has a lock screen which looks just like this. The problem is, we just noticed right now the time is squished. It's only the LAST number in the time (e.g. the 2nd 4 shown below is squished like it is not wide enough to fit).

This is from another phone, this looks fine, but ours has a squished last number at the end. WTF??

Anyone else ever notice the issue I mentioned? Any way to fix?

Well, it fixed itself.

WTF?

I mean how does the widget get wider so it has to squish its content?

*shrug*

Oh well, we're happy..
