Root Time to root

Hey guys hope you're all well

Right down to business,

My HTC Legend is a over a year old now and is sluggish even after factory reboot, at times I could throw it at the wall so I've decided to root but would like to ask you guys for some advice

So heres some info for my phone

It's Vodafone branded

And one or two questions

1 is rooting reversible
2 what's the best rom
3 do I have to downgrade, if so what to
4 can I get a stock, fully functional 2.2 rom where everything works

Hoping for a speedy reply as I'm bored and have time on my hands today

Hello their mate i have just recently rooted my Legend froyo 2.2 and it runs totally amzing now it was also quite slow.Regarding the rom you should flash depends on taste but i have flashed CyanogenMod 7.1 stable. I will post a link below to the guide i used and it worked perfectly for me and also has a link to create a goldcard automatically which is a great help so good luck take the plunge and let me know how you get on set your phone free.
