Help Time without signal?

Hi all,

I went to About Phone > Battery Use > Cell standy >

and saw that my time without signal is at 68%.

I tried to enable/disable the airplane mode but it hasn't changed the value or gone down in a while.

What are your experiences?

yup i got 57% .. im not letting it bother me at the moment because im so impressed with this phone

I've got 57% in the past five hours at my office. I have 1-2 bars of 3G. This is the same as I had on my incredible usually, but my tws on the dinc was always less than 3%. Hope this phone doesn't have serious signal problems. No more exchanges allowed for me unless it's a warranty issue. Hope we find a fix for this...

this fixes it for me, but i wish it wouldnt happen.

"Airplane Trick"

Plug your phone into the charger.

Put your phone into airplane mode.

Let the phone sleep/screen goes black.

Unplug phone from charger

Take it out of airplane more.

(This would have to be done each time you power cycle the phone)
