Help Time wrong on a received text

Anybody ever have this happen??? I received 2 txts- one from each of my kids and the receive time was like 6 hrs into the future of the actual time.

not a big deal... but then the next texts i received were all fine???

Were you roaming perhaps? This is a fairly common occurance when you're roaming. I've experienced it, as well as several others.

Nope I was not roaming.

Happens to me a lot too. In the middle of a conversation a text - either sent or received - will pop up with a time that's hours in the future. Then the next text will be fine.

I'm using ChompSMS and not roaming. When I look over at the same text thread on the stock messaging app, the times still show wrong.
