Help Time Zone wrong for my Home

[Jerryt32444]

My home (Lynn Haven, FL) is not found under the clock, so I used Panama City, FL which a few miles away, but the time setting for Panama City is Eastern when it is actually in Central. This causes my text strings to be screwed up. Does anyone know how to fix this??

Under Settings -> Date & Time -- Are you using automatic or manual? If automatic is putting you on Eastern, use manual and pick central.

I tried manually setting the time zone, but the phone still thinks Panama City, FL is in the eastern time zone.

When you manually set the Central time zone, it reset you to Eastern? Might have to tell Sprint their towers need time zone updates.

New it doesn't set the time zone to eastern it just displays the wrong time. I called sprint and they sent some code to the phone and then did a hard reset. These actions fixed my probelm!!

Thanks Darnell0216 for the advice!!
