I have a weird problem my wifes phone keeps loosing time its rooted is all thats done it will lose 15 min have to manually addjust the time manually then back to auto mine keeps time though mine is deodex from sorry for the spelling

If it's not connected to the network, the timekeeping is done by an internal clock, which isn't very well calibrated, since it's constantly being corrected by the network time.

If it's connected to the network when this is happening, there's a defect on the motherboard.

so thats why if I un check auto time my phone will not keep time or correct date

There is a free app you can get called clock sync that will adjust the clock at a chosen interval. The app is free and lightweight.
