Root Timestamp for text messages in notification bar off by 4 hours

After upgrading to rooted 2.2, I noticed that if I receive a text message at 10:18, it shows that I got it at 6:18 when I pull down the notification bar. When I click on it and go into text messages it shows the correct time though. Anyone else experience this? It's these minor things that are frustrating to me.

I'm having this issue too.

In ChompSMS: I can't get the chat display to work because the timestamp is off

It shows up as:
Replied(3:03):
Replied(3:05):
Sent(8:02):
Sent(8:04):

It should be:
Sent:
replied:
Sent:
replied:

because of the timestamp thing.

In Handcent the timestamp is off but it displays normally (Sent, replied, sent, replied).

In stock it doesn't have this issue.

I'm having the same issue with Handcent. If you send a text via the stock messaging app it will fix the issue, temporarily. Also, if I receive an MMS using Handcent, the MMS always shows up after the last text.

Example:

MMS received, reply, received, same MMS ,reply, received, same MMS, etc. if that made sense. The MMS always shows as being the latest message received. The stock messaging app doesn't have this problem.

If you remove the stock messaging app (either rename it or move it) it will fix the problem. I am using Handcent and experienced the same problem. Hope this helps.
