Hey all,
Wanted to share these apps I found that may work for those searching for alternatives.
I've had several occasions where my face would touch the screen and press the 'End Call' button. CM7 and CTMOD now don't lock the screen when your on a call. Now this would be great if the phone had a proximity sensor which it doesn't. I know you can press the lock/unlock button but honestly there are times I either forget or just in too much of a hurry to do while on a call. I know lots of people actually like the fact their screen isn't locked. If that's the case this thread isn't for you
This thread is for those whom miss the lock feature during a call.
I search the internet for ways to get around this and I came across several Apps that can do this. My favorite one and easiest is called Cheeky Hangup Guard! The app is FREE for now but it may not be in the future.
This app will lock the screen when your on a call using a transparent black background. All you have to do is press the 'back' button to get rid of it.
If anyone knows anymore alternatives for this app or replacements for built in Phone app that lock the screen during a call, please share it!
