Maybe I have a dud, I have tried the two ways to capture a screenshot and neither work on my phone.

Does the screenshot image appear immediately on the screen, if not where?

Eureka!!!! Pressed the power button and volume down button 6 times and finally got a screenshot.

Its tricky right? Takes a second to get it right but after that i T's no problem

I am also able to do it by hitting the power button real quick, then about half a second later hitting home.

So both ways work, you just have to get the timing right.
