Hey guys,

I am finally making the switch to Android as my sgs2 arrives next week. I'm wondering if you guys can offer tips on such things as:

- essential apps
- best ROMs
- cool accessories/hardware
- any other tips to get the most out of my new toy!!

some of my fav apps:

SoundHound - free. listens to a clip of any song playing, and tells u the title.
whatsapp - free for a year. instant messaging app thats always connected. feels like free texting if u have a 3G connection (and u really should, if ur a smartphone user)
tango/viber - free. video/voice calls. always connected, like whatsapp
dropbox - free. i think u know wat this does
imdb
pulse - free. news/rss reader. the best ive tried. google reader is pretty good too
lightbox - free. think instagram for android
webdav or cloudme - free. a client for webdav, if u have a cloudme account. i find webnav to have a better interface than the cloudme app
norton utilities - free. gives u all kinds of info about ur device. resource usage, battery, 3G usage etc
picsay pro. not free. one of the best photo editors ive tried.
there's a bunch of camera apps, vignette, retro camera and camera zoom fx are the best ive tried. and the stock android cam is also great if u want features but not effects
mvideoplayer - free. the best video player ive tried

im not gonna get into the games coz there are so many :D
