Tips for new Droid Eris user?

Hi all!

I haven't received my Droid Eris yet, but I wanted to start prepping for learning my new phone.

I am running (yes, running) from Apple and AT&T after investing way too much money on my iPhone. It's great, but too expensive to fix.

What's your favorite feature of the Droid Eris that isn't available on the iPhone? And I'm worried about app availability...are there plenty of apps available? Do they cost about the same as apps with itunes?

And how do I go about using the Droid Eris as a music player if I have a mac and itunes?

Hey, There are plenty of apps available, approx 15000 or so, and the pricing is generally free or cheaper than iPhone apps.

I don't think you can sync with iTunes, but please post that in the Eris or Apps section and someone will be able to help.
