Tips for noob android developer?

[AndroidApper]

Hi,

I have been a java developer for around 8 years now but have never done any app development for any mobile platform. Recently I got interested in android and bought a galaxy s2.

Now I want to write some apps and take the plunge.

Any tips on where to start or how to go about writing some "hello world" apps ?

Thanks in advance.
