Root titanium back up not working after 2.2

rooted my phone and have 2.2.1 and went into titanium backup to restore my apps and cant because it says cant obtain root rights

Did you hit the 'Problems?' button and let it reinstall busybox?

Froyo kills root so no titanium backup the only method to root 2.2.1 so far is here http://androidforums.com/ally-all-things-root/263285-guide-froyo-2-2-1-root-users.html be sure th thank Trident if you decide to use it.
