Root titanium backup and sense?

mmkay so i have been playing with sense roms. tried xtrsense for a day or so... just downloaded tenzo to play with a froyo sense rom.

titanium backup wont appear in the app drawer on either... when i check the market its installed, and when i check it in applications my only option is to uninstall

ive tried to search here and xda but cant really seem to find anything.

what am i missing? is there something i need to to to make it compatible with sense based roms? 2.1 or 2.2?

It is definitely in my app drawer in xtrSENSE. You can always run it from the market, if it truly is installed. Go into the market, tap it, there will be an open button rather than an install button.

You could always uninstall and reinstall to see if that helps with the app drawer.

Some ROMs (or maybe it's the launcher??) allow you to 'hide' apps so that you don't see them in the drawer. If by doing what Doogald suggested you find that it's already installed then maybe look it being hidden as a problem.

thanks for the replies,guys.

going to open in the market dint work,my only option was "uninstall" just like looking at it in settings>manage applications.

uninstall/reinstall had no affect either

then it clicked that the pro version reads "this is your pro key,you need the free version as well" so i uninstalled it,installed the free version, then reinstalled the purchased pro key and voila it is there :D

i assumed that downloaing the version id purchased downloaded the whole thing, but i guess that was not the case!

im on the tenzo froyo rom right now,and im sure the above will work to get it on xtrsense as well.

Ah, you see I have a key from the "old days", before there was a Pro version - you would download the free version and it would read a key file on your SD card to see that you had donated. So, these days I just install the free version and it knows exactly who I am and unlocks those features.

Anyway, the same thing that you describe goes for many pro versions of apps - the pro version is merely some sort of activator for features hidden in the free version.
