Root Titanium Backup, Camera Sounds, and Wifi Tether

Hey, some quick questions:

1. In Titanium Backup, I have been removing all the bloatware and stuff I dont use. But I see two ways of doing this. If you just press the app, you get this, and I always pick Uninstall.

But then if you hold it, you get this, and then there is Force Remove App.

So I'm not sure which I should be using, for now I just do uninstall.

2. So is there a way to delete the camera sounds?

3. And now that I am rooted, how do I wifi tether as if I had been paying the $30/mo?

4. And, in the clockwork recovery, I did backup. And now Im wondering if this is a NANDROID backup or not. Because NANDROID is the full system backup right? Not just the apps etc?
These files are in \clockworkmod\backup:

It is better to freeze the bloatware than uninstall, sometimes uninstalliation causes problems when you flash new roms over or it may cause force close issues. if you are uninstalling it is a good idea to make a backup of the apk

1. Sometimes system apps can't be removed. If you get an error with a normal uninstall, you need to try the recovery option. I, also, highly recommend that you freeze apps rather than uninstall them. Since it's too late, just do this from now on if you want to remove anything else. If you must remove them, I recommend you use root explorer to move them to the sd card so you can get them back.

2. In the camera - menu->settings (last button)->scroll down and uncheck "shutter sound"

3. If you want to use the actual Sprint hotspot app, you need to flash a ROM that has it unlocked - Myn's Warm for example. The most common method, though, is to install android wifi tether from either the market, or one of the pre or RC versions from here:

android-wifi-tether - Project Hosting on Google Code

4. Those are the correct files, but go ahead and view details to make sure the sizes look right. (System and data img files will be a few hundred MB).

...and your backups will either be in the /clockworkmod folder or if you select "nandroid">restore then you will see a list of your backups and have the choice of which one you would like to backup to.

Against my better judgement of just closing the thread and giving my 2 cents...

Thread cleaned. Remember that we can't have our cake and eat it too :)
