Root Titanium Backup Issue

Momomuffins

I just rooted my phone successfully and paid for/installed TB however I'm not seeing any icon for the app. It shows up in my installed apps section. I apologize for my noobness but I've gone thru the wiki and I'm either too tired to mess with this anymore or something didn't install properly. Is there not an icon for the app?

Just to make sure, you need to to d/l the free version from the market. It should work, minus a few features. The paid version from the market puts a license on the root of your SD card, which the free version "sees" and unlocks more features.

If this is what you did, disregard, but I was not clear, based on your post.

Also, the first time TB runs, pay attention, as you need to grant it SuperUser permission. If you don't have the SU icon, and you are sure you are rooted, you need to add that from the market aw well, but Unrevoked should have added it, if that is how you rooted.

So you are saying it doesn't show up in the app drawer?
Sounds like you need to download the free version too...the paid version is just a key to enable features on the free version.

I've had issues before were I had to reboot before newly installed apps would show up in the app drawer.
