Root Titanium Backup Restore

So this was weird to me, but maybe it's normal with TiB Pro.

I just wiped and flashed deodexed stock. Phone reboots. I goto market to get TiB or see if it's there since I have Pro now. Goto downloads....and all my apps are downloading and installing.

I didn't even run TiB restore....????...

This has obviously caused a problem. I am running restore apps and data and it just sits at first app

OK, I think crisis averted. I wiped and reinstalled. No crazy downloading in market. Just my TiB Pro key and Touchdown key. Restoring now :)

Nice, finally figured out where Tibu and pro version are
on root explorer, copied and pasted onto SD card for when I decide to finally try out one of the froyo roms. Thanks Justin! I'm just so in love with my voodoo5 on 2.1 right now though. Jt's 1/24 kernel is incredible, sounds like froyo voodoo is almost comparable?

Personally I think its a bit of a wash performance wise...with a slight edge to.2.2 with voodoo....once we have source and jt and company can really customize the kernelsit shouldn't be close

The Technical FAQ will help you understand the settings.

The How To FAQ tells you how to your first backup and how to restore after flashing a ROM/Reset

The backup/restore instruction are very easy to understand and each one is only a few steps.

All the Doc's are in easy to understand language and it takes about 5-10 minutes to read all the documentation. Anything you don't understand is a google search away from getting more details about any of the settings or how to do something.

This is a great link! Helped me out. I'm not dumb....you'd never believe me if I told you.....anyways...I think I just had a mental block using this app because the interface is extremely non-intuitive and gives you 5 different ways to do one thing without any good explanation. Take a look at the batch options that begin with the word Restore. There's at least three of them. No explanation of what each will do. There's a restore Apps with Data and then a Restore Apps with all system data and then a Restore User Apps. I mean....what part of being able to use a one-click app to root your phone or installing a root-required app equates into knowing what all those batch options mean?
