Root Titanium backup/superuser/busybox

I just did the one click root. I installed superuser, busybox, and titanium backup. When I try to run Titanium backup it says I need busy box, and when I try to run busybox it says I need superuser. Superuser is installed, so how do I make it work?

According to Root Checker, I'm not actually rooted, even after the screen tells me "you should have root!"

Do you see superuser in your applications list? If you do it probably needs to be updated. I had a similar problem and updating it through the market solved my problem.

The first time I did the one click root I assumed it worked. I followed someone's instructions in the thread and I downloaded root checker, superuser, and busy box. It was after those were installed that I realized that I wasn't actually rooted. I have since uninstalled all but root checker in order to start the root from scratch.

I have very short patience for things like this. I have tried the root about 10 times, including a few times from reboot. This is usually where I give up.

odds are your not rooted. when you one click root you shudnt have to download superuser it'll automatically be installed on your phone. go back to the one click root files and read the "readme" folder

hope i helped

Superuser just got a couple updates i dont know if this helps you or not i just wanted
to throw that out ther just in case cause the older one gets intalled with busybox when
you run one click root.. could be an error ther somewhere...

The superuser that is added with one click root isn't up to date. Some applications for example the newest Titanium Backup need a updated version of superuser to work.

There are issues with the latest
S.U. update. One problem with the 3.0 update is that it gives a false positive for not having root capability. I have had to uninstall the newest update in order to keep root. It also causes force closures when asking for Super User rights.

huge problem saying our binary is not up to date when actually everything is

hopefully it will get straightened out...

I just took it off of automatic updating until they get the issue taken care of, and so far so good......
