Titanium Backup Won't Work

Lurker
I am transferring from a Droid Razr to a Droid Razr. I rooted both and installed TB on both. I hit backup all apps and settings on the old device and plugged the SD card into the new device, but there is nothing there for TB to backup. So I looked on the SD card - nothing there from TB. So I hooked up the old device and transferred the entire TB folder to the SD card. Then I put the loaded SD card into my new device. Still nothing for TB to back up even though I tell it to navigate to that folder. I also can't get my old device to back up straight to the SD card -it tells me the folder is inaccessible. What am I doing wrong? I have to return my old device tomorrow and if I can't get this then I will have to start all over with my new phone.

If it helps, the only thing in the TB folder on either the old device or the SD card inserted into the new device are all com.android files. I don't think that's what it's supposed to be.

Whole thing seems kind of strange, almost like your card isn't mounting or something? Any chance you have a custom recovery since you're rooted? If you're truly swapping for the exact same model phone and using the same gmail account on both phones, I'd be apt to swap a nandroid backup instead.

on my razr, the default TB backup folder is on the phone, in sdcard, and the removable sd card data is in sdcard-ext. are you using the correct folder for your backups?
