Titanium backup

I may be missing something obvious here but I've backed up numerous times with loads of apps I no longer use.

How can I clean up my backups so I am only restoring what I currently have so I don't have to manually cancel half the apps in a restore?

Can I just delete the unwanted files off the Sd or will that break Titanium in some way?

I'd rather do it in Titanium itself if there is a way.

I was wondering exactly that as well :/ i have just stopped using it now cos tbh i dont really need it

Just had a quick look and it looks like you can do it from within Titanium.

Go to the back up/restore tab, click menu then batch.Scroll to the bottom and there's an option to "Delete backups for un-installed apps"

Should get rid of them without needing to delete the folder.

Something I've never noticed before now.;)

Exactly what I was about to suggest

Ah cool thanks guys.
Already deleted the folder and redid the backup.
But one to remember for next time.

Actually, I think it is a good way to keep your apps that you don't need at the moment.
Sometimes I doubt if I wan to use a particular app. I run a full backup on TB, then I uninstall it. Later, if needed, I don't have to search in the market and download it. I can simply restore it in a few seconds. :)

The only time I have had a problem with Titanium Backup is when it fails to remove backups of old "host files" from AdFree.

They're no longer on my phone, but they won't disappear from the list like deleted apps.

+1

I use TB to do exactly this. Esp. for paid apps that I don't want/need to use atm.

I don't even know why they show cause they're not apps

Me either!

They just appeared at the bottom in grey font with a line through it, indicating that they're no longer on the phone. When the list is refreshed and/or phone is rebooted they don't disappear like other items which used to be on the phone.

How do you restore all apps at once? I went through them manually when moving form Leedroid to GingerVillain. Was worried it would try to restore sense apps and cock things up.

Menu - Batch - Restore missing apps with data.
Here you can exclude apps (or data) that you think may cause a conflict.
The restore goes as a continuous process, but you need to give each app the permission rights separately.
