Root Titanium restore from 2.1 to 2.2 help

I went from 2.1 did a full titanium backup and got the 2.2 ota.

When I try to do a full restore of apps and data I get errors. Once it is completed HTC sense does a force close and will not let me use my phone so I have to do a factory reset.

What am I missing that I shouldn't restore?

Basically just want to restore all my apps, system settings, sms, app settings, etc.

Basically, you want to do a batch restore of apps + data, but uncheck all 2.1 apps & pretty much anything android/google.
