Titianium Backup - Switching Phones?

I am going to be upgrading from my rooted Eris in a few days... I have many paid apps on my phone that I'd like to carry over to the SF when I upgrade.

Does anyone know if I use Titanium Backup on my appps, if I would be able to "recover" them onto my new device?

paid apps are linked to your google account and will be available for download in market on your new phone

titanium is possible between phones...you ll have to switch the backup file on your sdcard to do it though....and its worked ok for some, not well for others :o

dont restore any data though

Don't restore app data or system data? Why not app data?

why risk it? i mean *most likely* nothing goes wrong, but several that have tried on various forums restoring anything but just straights ups had fc issues up and down....personally i havent bothered...seemed like more of a pain then just letting the market sync after getting a new phone :)
