Root [TMobile] [solved] Clockwork mod recovery boot loop

I was having troubles flashing a custom recovery the automatic way within the app so I plugged in my Phone to my PC and used Odin to flash CWM, after I got done I tried going into recovery mode but it failed and kicked me to Odin mode, at this point however I was not in a loop I could still boot up my phone just fine. After my recovery failed to boot up I was pretty frustrated on how I could not flash a custom recovery so stupidly I restarted my phone and opened up Clockwork mod and decided to try opening recovery from within the app and this is how this vicious loop started. Every time I turn on my phone it wants to boot into recovery mode, but since recovery mode fails to boot it kicks me into Odin mode.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Welcome to our AndroidForums, hounddog21.

Do you have a file on your device called /system/recovery-from-boot.p?

If so, that file, in conjunction with the /system/etc/install-recovery.sh script will auto-flash the stock recovery (at shut down time, I believe--which would explain why you're seeing (I think) the stock recovery (if I'm understanding you right--I don't have an S5 nor have I used Odin, but the behavior you're describing sounds similar to what I know happens on a few other devices (notably the Nexus line)).

If not, then I'll have to let the S5 root folks chime-in...this just sounded like something I'd seen before.
