I tried eating vegetarian but it just didn't jive with me. Truthfully, I just couldn't justify that lifestyle when I looked at all the facts. I am interested in the trend of humane butchering though. Sounds like that might be about as good of a balance as one can get without going back to the stone age hunter/gatherer days.

My daughter's roommate asked me if I was a experiencing a benefit to all this. I said I was. The benefit was that I can now can go regularly to the Whole Foods Market and mock the Vegans. I detest some of their extreme thinking.

It took about a week to used to it. The intestines were going nuts on me. Honestly, I do feel I'm getting a varies diet. We have a Whole Foods nearby, so I get neat stuff there.

I'm not so sure about this vegan diet I've been on since Monday. I feel somewhat weak-ish... a little strange in the .. uh... lower intestines?

I'll continue for a bit, but may back to my high meat/sushi/dairy/cholesterol diet soonly.

Makeup (whale blubber, etc), motor lubricants, furniture polish, soap, paint (yes, paint contains insect and other ground goodies to produce certain colors), ad infinitum.
