Help to do with alerts

i like alerts.

i want alerts when i get a text or email or whatever.

what i don't like, is when i'm listening to something, and they temporarily cut off what i'm listening to.

bit of a pain.

i don't mind if they flash their icon, but can i stop them from interrupting music without setting them to silent?

cheers!

sms popup app

thanks for that, but not quite sure what you mean?

another annoyance i've noticed...
if i'm making a call and doing nothing but talking, ie, not pressing anything, the power saver kicks in and disconnects the call.
any way to avoid this? apart from having the power saving settings set high?
maybe it's just me, but i'd have thought the power saving would not apply while a call was in progress??? ;)

He means if you download SMS Popup from the market, disable notifications in the default app, you can configure SMS Popup to your needs. There are others SMS Apps out there, Handcent, Go SMS etc that might have settings you can tweak, but they're a bit too cartoony for me.

Not sure about the power thing, if you turn off the notifications in the power saver settings, does that make a difference?

trying the pop up.
working well!
does what i ask :)

really don't know why, and it's NOT the power saver, it's the screen saver.

VERY ANNOYING!!!!!
