Root To unroot safely, what order do I do things in?

My PC has failed to flash stock 3 times, and I never downloaded any Roms anyways, so I'm just going to use the full unroot option in SuperSU. However, what should I do with the quick boot app? And what order to do these in:

Full unroot via SuperSU
Relock boot loader via PC
Delete custom recovery/flash stock recovery (how do I do this?)

I'm just as, if not more scared I'll screw something up than when I first rooted
 
Unrooting from the SU app won't really unroot you.

I mean it won't be rooted in the sense that apps won't be able to request root permissions, but it won't actually return your phone to fully stock.

You'll still have an unlocked bootloader, modified system, and custom recovery.

Well then.. crap. My computer has failed 3 times to download and flash stock.

Will locking the boot loader then factory resetting via settings do anything or will that softbrick me
 
I mean its not that big of a deal, but as far as warranty you'll still have traces of it being rooted.

If you aren't concerned with that, uninstall quick boot, full unroot from Su app, then fastboot flash the stock recovery and finally lock the bootloader

I want to unroot because I want to safely factory reset because my WiFi hasn't been working with Google services and the bars are orange in quick settings
 
Does it matter if I never flashed any Roms? Theoretically the stock images would remain untouched, right?

Also, I have no clue how to start fastboot (power+volume buttons didn't work) and get stock recovery
 
I uninstalled quick boot and unrooted via supersu, now which option in fast boot mode do i choose

Do I need android sdk on my pc

Yeah, I was using that. Trying again

When/if I get it to work, do I simply restore that to my tablet
 
No don't restore. I just downloaded the factory image there then opened wugfresh nrt and instead of letting nrt download it, you can choose the image you already downloaded to install.
Edit: actually since you mentioned this I decided to try to unroot/flash stock. It failed and said it couldn't find system.img in factory image. I know its there. So it didn't work for me either. :what:
