Root To update to dk28.

If I update to dk28 when the OTA full update comes out will my phone automatically let me upgrade to the OTA update?

Or will the dk28 stop that?

Sorry for the scrub question

The general consensus is that you will not get the OTA unless you use Odin to flash back to a stock release.

But, if you root and use DK28, the developers will likely have a way for us to update shortly after it's released.

I hate to piggyback on this thread, but it seems pretty relevant so here goes.

I'm rooted but only running the stock DI18. I'd like to update to DK28 but I'm having trouble following all of the different links that I find to tell me what I need to do just to update to a standard DK28 update.

What I'm finding are just links that tell me to click here to follow this update if you're running x, y, but not z. Click this if you're running x, z but not y. Click this if you're running y, z, but not x. Then you find the one that matches you, you click it, then you're given the following: click this if you're running a,b but not c. Click this if you're running a, c but not b. Click this if you're running c, b, but not a.

Really?! I just want to update my phone so I can change to EXT4 file system...and install a custom rom after that.

What's my best bet here?
