I certainly love this phone. I know there will be plenty of folks out there that won't but to each their own. That is why there are many different manufacturers.
This is my first Samsung phone and I like it a lot. I came from a Thunderbolt and like HTC a lot as well. I can see issues with folks coming from 3G as I went from a DInc to the Thunderbolt and the battery life adjustment was a big one, however, the speed and the larger screen outweighed my need for long battery life.
I love how quickly you can snap photos on the GNex even though they may not be fantastic, however, if you take your time and focus and get the lighting right you can get a great photo.
The size and speed of the phone are fantastic... even the weight is just right, especially after coming from a Thunderbolt (I am considering using it as a paper weight now).
No phone is going to be perfect - some will be more so for others.
All in all I am very happy with this phone.

I know this is a forum and there will always be complaining/issues, but I just want to note that I love the GNex. I'm not seeing issues with my 4g radio or battery. Great phone that I plan to have for awhile.

Locked instantly the first time used, in heavy rain/clouds, under an overhang.
Used gps from a link in a calendar invite, not even the full address, just the number and name.... bam, instant google navigation! This is so much faster than any of the other droids I've owned recently and over the years, and the iphone could never do that, but that iphone is old tech anyway.
Go SGN on VZW! Seems like a lot of people in the office got them already, we were testing sharing over nfc and a lot of other items today at work. Everyone agrees that it's 5/5 stars or even more!
Went outside and the GPS locked on instantly..i think its where i work...im under a big metal roof haha
Getting over 20 hours on battery every day, GPS/live traffic etc working great (even big enough to wedge in my dash unlike my desire!) no crashes, no force closes, no dropped calls, no lag, loving the screen, NFC'd a bunch at work today with other people!
Best upgrade i've ever done.
weakest point is the camera, but i knew that when i got it, i only use it for snappy snaps.

IMHO the camera is a VERY strong point and I've been shooting for 30+ years with pro gear.
I haven't tried lower light with no built in flash, but the flash pics and outdoor pics blow away any droids I've recently had!
