Well i figured that leaving gps on will let me get search results more accurately , its worrying me that maybe someone might be looking at my location tracking every move . So i want to be on the save side , since theres 3 or 4 toggles . Which ones should be on . I just like searching for near by locations , any one mind telling me what those toggles on gps are and which ones should be on to use google now accurately ? Thanks

Yea , but only in emergency . Your location can only be accessed if theres like traggic accidents i think .

When you leave Google Location search on it will automatically track where you are on earth during intervals of time. So when you use Google maps will already have a general idea of you location and not have to begin a search for where you are.

Yea gps off or on...or no gps on the phone at all....they can track cell towers and get an average location where you are..if they really want to :-D.

yea thats true used to be called triangulation. if you log in to 3 different towers they can read the signal strength from each one an get an idea of where you are.using a directional antanae can throw this off
i believe if you have gps turned of its only used if you call 911

i leave mine off mostly.i turn it on when needed.
as i assume that it may use more battery connection to location servers
