Root Tomorow's the day for change for me!

I am currently running the good old 2.3.602 which is rooted and de-blurred according to my own custom list I made. Battery life and android overclock have saved my phones battery, i can pull 2 days out under minimal 3G use, and easily 1 day or more with heavy wifi and 3G combined use. I know I will lose some battery life when switching roms, but I need some advice.

I ran MIUI a while back when it wasn't working so well on the DX, but now things are looking up for that rom and I really liked it on the surface level. My question is, should I go with the latest stable release of MIUI (1.10.28) or another version, please specify for me as I don't know which is the best release. OR should I get MIUI on ICS? That seems pretty bleeding edge and buggy, but it would be awesome.

If you have another great rom to share with me that is good on battery life and is or isn't 2ndinit, let me know below!

ICS MIUI is doing amazing for me. I thought Liberty 3 was amazing battery life, but with MIUI matches it. Is functional and very customizable..

I forgot to add that I want the camera and video functions to work PERFECTLY. Glad to hear that ICS Miui is kind to the battery.

The 1.10.28 release of MIUI was pulled due to a problem with the data toggles sticking. You'd sometimes end up with no data and you'd have to turn off wifi and 3G, put into airplane mode, and reboot. After coming back you could turn off airplane and re-enable data. .28 was the MIUI release with 720p enabled, so VoidedSaint is right that it is currently not available. Droidxchat, the MIUI dev, has a "final" release coming up of MIUI what will have 720p, 1% battery increments, charging while off, and (Maybe!) HDMI. You may want to wait for that. The release should be in a few days.

I'll wait on it. Sounds like most of it is still being worked out on many roms. Glad to hear that it did work at one point, means it will in the future.
