I'm gettin a Sony Ericsson Arc tomorrow as part of my upgrade. Only had the X8 as a temporary phone because my main handset broke and i didn't have it insured. I bought it because it was the cheapest android handset that was out (i was used to using to using high end handsets at the time, i'd previously had a Nokia N900 and HTC Hero) So anyway i wasn't expecting much from the X8. How wrong i was, this phone has been excellent in the 6 or so months i've had it, it's a right little soldier, yes it came out with 1.6 but with the addition of ADW Launcher it has held it's own (further to the 2.1 update). Loved using this phone, yeah everyone else had their iphones etc but i wouldn't have swapped my X8 for any of them!.
I must have had about 200 different phones in my time but this one stands out. It's been dropped on concrete many many times, crushed in my back pocket, thrown around etc etc, but it's remained without a scratch on it. I usually sell my old phones once i'm done with them, but not the X8, a brilliant brilliant phone which i shall be keeping, because you never know when it's gonna be called back into action. I would recommend this phone to EVERYONE!

Thank you my friend, the X8
