Help Too hot to charge

Strange error message today.

I was watching web video for about an hour with the phone plugged into the stock wall charger.

A warning message came up that said something like: Phone is too hot to charge

It was in the same sort of window that the "phone is fully charged" is shown.

I unplugged it, and continued to watch the video. A few minutes later, the phone shut off.

It was pretty hot. I took out the battery, and let things cool off and was able to restart and get back to the video. the battery was at about 32%

Doesn't look like a problem... but it's the first time I've seen it.

Were you tethering, sun bathing or anything "abnormal" that would create the phone/battery to overheat?

Get something like batteryminder and post your temps! Highest I've seen my phone is 40c

I was just watching video at my desk, so the screen was on... nothing else out of the ordinary. I've done this several times before

It did happen a second time. The actual text of the warning was:

"Charging paused. Battery temperature too high or too low"

I did not think to check the temp using the app. I'll do that next time it happens.

After being OK for a while, I've started to get this again.

Watching flash web video for an hour or more with the stock wall charger plugged in.

It seems to give the message when it hits 113 (45c) degrees, but I've seen it up to 115

Even if I shut the phone off, I get the error message. I need to let it cool down before I can charge and restart.
