Root Too late for MIUI Gingerbread?

Patchrom isn't compatible with mdpi devices unfortunately..least not under v4 from what I understand

Well that's a bummer. Have you found a way around the keyboard issue? I'm beta testing two keyboards and hopefully soon a third (fleksy) and it's just a pain to switch between them with this one.

For some reason this rom runs faster with all the data on the sd card than cm7 or ctmod did for me. At least it felt that way and could just be wishful thinking :p

You can only have one keyboard enabled and in use at a time. If you have more than one enabled in the system settings you can't switch between them; so you have to go disable all but the one you want to use and then you can switch to it. Sometimes I had to reboot the phone to get the different keyboard to work.

If I wasn't testing out different keyboards all the time it wouldn't be a big deal. I'll just stick with HalfAss for now which is working fine for me so far (although it's not as cool ;-P).

Wifi is cutting in and out as it feels bro... idk what to do... I can port the script but I need permission from the Dev. ....

He doesn't even have a prevail anymore. I don't think he will mind. But if you want to be safe, drop him a pm. He doesn't check in here much anymore

I have been "playing" for way too many hours the past couple weeks with ROMS on my Prevail. Here is some feedback on this ROM in support of the community here.

This ROM has one of the most detailed Settings menus. I don't know if that is from the kernel or the ROM, but it really provides options that I didn't find in CTMod or CM7.

There are TONS of themes that show up in the theme browser. This ROM has far more theme options than any of the others on the All Things Root page. Watch out, though, because there are apparently different size graphics in that listing. I loaded one theme and I couldn't get to the unlock button, it was off the screen (probably because of the scale). I had to re-flash the ROM to get past it.

A couple times untranslated screens appeared (proceed at your own risk!). This was unnerving because there is no way to predict what the buttons will do. Only option is to back out.

The screen with all the toggles on it (a very nifty feature!) appears to offer the option to arrange the order of the icons by dragging them up and down on the screen. But I couldn't find the way to save the order. That wasn't a big deal (none of the other ROMs I tried had that feature) but I note it here for reference.

The show-stopper for me with this ROM, the thing that prompted me to end my evaluation, was the glitch with the keyboard selection menu. I couldn't get it to switch keyboards! Since that is one of the main points of interface on the phone, I was not willing to change from my TouchPal keyboard.
