Too many ads...

I'm really struggling with all the ads that are around which is ruining my browsing experience. I often try to X them away but that usually leads to me just clicking on the ad and it opening a new tab.

I started using the stock browser and have switched to Dolphin. Both have had this issue. Phandroid is one of the worst sites about it. The ad will often get stuck so it is in the middle of my screen (instead of on the bottom) and I then can't get rid of it.

Are other people struggling with ads? Is there an app I don't know about to get rid of these things?

I do have to agree on the add that pop's up on the middle of the screen, it's annoying as it's very hard to hit the X. But then again, I don't mind a little inconvenience to hang around some great guys/gals around the net.

If you use Chrome it will magically bring up a little zoomed in box around the X that you have to click to Close the ad. Makes the X nice and big so it's easy to close with opening the ad.

There's nothing worse than trying to hit that X.
