Yes I just read you need to do volume up and power it on for the recovery. Sorry I got confused.
if you still have a problem with check the zip file properities to make its named properly. Also you can extract the file on your computer just to make sure it is a complete file. Then just delete the extracted file after you confirm this.
 
UPDATE: Going to call Loyalty Center Monday, will be shipped back for Acer to fix.

Going to ask them to do all the updates, or do they do this automatically??
 
Picked up Aug 29, Dropped off today. Works great. ANd I checked the software, says it is version 3.1.

Acer support was excellent, no questions asked.

Should we ignore updates from now on?? How can I shyt the updater off??
 
If you goto Settings >> About Tablet >> System Update. Uncheck the box now your tablet should not try and update or at least not try and check for the updates.
 
i have same problem as mariahb192 i tried splatoid directions but after that it shows is the lil green robot dude with a triangle and a ! in the middle. but still that problem is remaining, what should i do ?
im from Srilanka. thank you
