Too Many Patterns Locked Out!!!!!!!

I have been locked out of my phone. Kids played with the pattern and now the phone is asking for gmail account and password. I forgot password. Can't access phone. Do I have to do a hard factory reset and lose everything?

If you know the gmail account, just do a password reset. Then use the new password on the phone, once it's been confirmed.

i got a problem that even if i forgot the email adress which i used on my phone that time so how can i sort out that.

If you don't know the gmail account name or used an alternate email at time of registering, then a factory reset is your only option. Sorry.
