Took the wife to see the Epic

She loves it. God the screen made my EVO look like crap.
It will be here on Wednesday. Grrrrr EVO needs more color.

I'm a former EVO owner who is now happy with the epic. Trust me when I tell you, the screen isn't the only thing the Epic has in its favor. Wait until you start playing with her Epic and realizing that the processor is a little bit faster, and that her battery lasts that much longer! And that videos/games look/perform a tad bit better and smoother.... and this is just with the Epic only being on android 2.1. wait until it gets 2.2!

Awesome.. once all the problems get worked out..it will be really nice phone.
Many people come hate to it immediately but they dont give it a chance for an update.
I ditched the evo for the epic and i dont regret it.

My wife has the Evo and they screen is what convinced me to try the Epic.

I've only had it for 9 hours, but I'm glad I went with it (so far at least).

Even 4g is better on this than the evo. 4g on the epic actually goes into a sleep mode when you aren't using any data. it shows by having zzz's on top of 4g when data is not being used. Hence one of the ways battery life on the Epic is that much better than the EVO. I'm glad that I made the switch.

Hahaha. I was showing off my phone today to a friend with an iPhone 3GS. He turned on Angry Birds and said "I don't get it- it looks the same." So I loaded Angry birds, put the two side by side, and the iPhone looked like it had a black sheet pulled over it. WOW the Epic is beautiful.

Yup, that screen is definitely beautiful. So beautiful that I'm willing to throw logic out the window. Everytime I look at it, I think what GPS issue, so what that I don't know if SAMOLED will not be as reliable as good old LCD. Lol

Funny. Angry Birds is what made me go, "WOW!" Best game ever for a phone.
