Help top cover

Anyone else beside me had a hard time. Opening the top cover every night thinking about ripping it off
 
i don't think it's all that hard to open, but I AM surprised that it hasn't broken off on its own yet. I remember first getting this phone and thinking "yeah that thing will probably last about two weeks before it breaks off". Three months later and its still hangin in there! Now that I said that, it'll probably break off tomorrow lol. Maybe I should knock on wood (knocks on head)
 
I actually like it. On my Optimus M, I see dust particles in my usb port all the time. I'm constantly blowing it out. I feel that this cover is better for the port. Though, I sort of like the way my M has it's SD card placement. Unfortunately to remove the back of the Ascend I have to slide it just the right way. The M is very simple, It's a pull off and snap on back. The Ascend is a slider, Sliders are just harder for me. So if my SD was located in the back of my Ascend like the M, I might get annoyed. My main wish is that they'd make longer charging/usb cords that come with the phone stock.
 
I was worried it was going to break off having to pull it over my phone cover but surprisingly there have been no problems with it.
 
Haha yesss! It's so hard to open. Especially when I get acrylic nails ha! I usually need a needle or something to help me open it.
 
The major key to opening this up easily is just to be able to fit your nail right under the crevice at an angle. Then it should pop and slide right off. I have more problems opening the back of the phone. X.x
