Total Battery used

Is there an apps or widget to shows accumulated battery usage ie 5-6 hours etc otherwise how do I know how the good the battery is

You don't particularly need a widget for that. Most people charge to 100 percent over night and take it off the charger when they get up (let's say 6am every day). If battery is at 70 percent at noon, then you've used 30 percent in six hours.

But maybe your schedule is not so regular and you can't remember when you took it off the charger....

Battery monitor widget gives some nice graphs of battery use over time.

Another app Gsam will also tell you how much battery you've used in how much time and break down the usage into categories

Thanks for your advice but these apps don't appear to do what I want. I want an apps which gives me an accumulative total of battery usage ie on say Monday I used it for say 22 minutes, Tuesday for 18 minutes, Wednesday for 26 minutes and the apps states that I have had usage of 66 minutes. This way I can determine whether the advertised figure of 5-6 hours usage on my new tablet is correct.

Being now retired I only use my tablet when I go out, preferring my laptop when home

If that's all you're after, take a look at Settings > Battery. At the top, the graph should say something like "2h 57m 33s on battery" (just what mine says at this moment).

Yeah, but that doesn't list the days, like on Monday he used it for 2 hours and such, it just lists the total time.

Which I mean I guess could serve the same purpose of giving him total usage in one battery life.

I really don't know if there is an app that tells you each days usage though.

As far as I know, there isn't any Battery Management Apps like that out as far as I know.

I'm not sure what it would mean. If the device is on at all then it's using the battery.

A battery monitor can show the total screen on time during the current cycle, which people often use as a way of measuring the "active" usage. Bear in mind though that this will also vary with usage: ebook reading will give much longer battery life than gaming, screen brightness has a large effect, and standby time too: if you use it continuously from the moment you unplug it you'll get more screen on time than if you use it in dribs and drabs over a week because there will be no standby power drain. So whether it meets, falls short of or exceeds the spec will depend on how you use it.

But if you just want to know whether the total battery life matches the claim, why do you need to break it down by days?

Thanks for your reply. However, my settings re the battery doesn't show any graphs and only gives the current status of the battery and how long for this session, it doesn't show total usage anywhere.

I am using Android 4.2.2

I don't want details of the daily usage just the cumulative total ie 5-6 hours or whatever

Still unable to find an apps which gives me the total hours used of the battery. I looked under setting, battery, and it only gives the current usage. When I switch off and on and check the settings it resets itself and starts again.

The manufacturer of my tablet says that it should last 5-6 hours of use, before charging, but I am not so sure.

How we do check this as I cannot find an apps which gives accumulative totals
