Total transfer from Desire HD?

[kungura]

Hello All,

I've been on these threads for a while, first with the Desire, then the Desire HD, and now I've moved on to the Galaxy S2 (instead of Sensation).

my question is:

is there a ways to transfer all contacts (with their applied photos), apps, and preferences straight to the Galaxy S2?

I'm aware of the google sign in will migrate contacts, calendar, and emails, but what about the rest (excluding the micro sd card)?

many thanks guys!

I can't remember what I did on my HTC Desire, I think I saved the contact pics etc to my google account, because when I entered my google account details on to the SGS2, all my contact info was already there. Apps are already installed also, I dont have an SD card (got one coming tomorrow) Not sure if this is the info you are after.
