Help touch screen broken and cracked screen!

I have just bought a htc wildfire s and within 4 days the screen cracked. I was fine with that until when I tried to unlock it the bottom of the touch screen no longer works! I have no insurance and I am with virgin mobile. I understand that the warrenty doesnt cover the screen but does it cover the default with the touch screen as I cannot unlock it or use it at all!

virgin mobile htc wildfire s, broken digitizer.. lcd is fine, i understand htc makes diff kinds of the wildfire s but what digitizer do i need for my virgin mobile wildfire s to work again plz help, im planing on getting on from ebay, since its the cheep an im kinda broke. i need my phone

I don't know what a digitizer is, but I do know that the two types of Wildfire S are GSM and CDMA. If you have Virgin Mobile USA, then your phone is CDMA. If outside the US, I'm not sure but would guess GSM.
