Help Touch screen doesn't respond when phone is sitting down?

Has anyone else noticed this? With the phone laying on a table/counter/couch, the touchscreen normally doesn't respond at all. When it does, it's very glitchy, and pretty useless for anything that requires a swipe (like navigating home screens). I've tried all sorts of combinations of what finger I use, angle, and pressure, but it seems like as soon as I pick up the phone and do the same thing I was doing, it works fine. Just me or no?

This is a bug with a lot of Inc's and also some Evo's apparently they say they will fix it with an OTA update oen day!

I don't believe it but its also not a huge deal, Mine also does this, and I only really noticed it when it was in my Car dock, but since then I've had Dincs that do the same thing, so kept my original, all other had way more problems... and just hard wired my car dock to my center console :)

Just search for unresponsive screen and you will see what i'm on about.

Interesting. The only time it's ever really been an issue is in the car dock, where it just doesn't respond. I don't understand how touching the plastic back cover of the phone completes a circuit...
