Help Touch Screen Issue?

I have an opportunity to go into the T-Mobile store on my day off on Thursday, so I thought I better ask as my phone is under a week old.

Is it just my phone or is it a common thing that in the corners of the screen and round the edges the touch screen almost doesn't work? I find this to be a big issue when writing text messages and trying to select the odd button on the edges?

Is this just me?

Yes, that's common I guess. I've noticed on my Hero and on a friend's Magic as well.

Happened to me too. Upgrading to the new ROM seemed to help.
I'm also on T-Mobile.

I've heard it's a common issue. Shame really.

My screen is also often only responsive to thumb presses only for some reason
