Help Touch screen problems?

Anyone having any touch screen problems where when you touch the screen the screen will not respond to your finger therefore making response is not go through. This only happens a few times, usually restarting the device well fix this problem, but it is annoying when I'm trying to browse forms or type on the keyboard with the tablet and letters are not registering. Any suggestions?

I would be interested to know the Manufacturing date of your device - it is written on the box because I bought one built in July 2013 and I had the same issue, the screen was often not responsived and I returned it.

I was hoping that Nexus 7 built in October or after have this issue fixed. Can someone confirms that?
