Lately, I've experienced increasing phone latency primarily when using Go SMS. I'll be in the middle of typing a message and the phone will stop responding for 10-45 seconds before I can continue. During these lapses hitting the sleep/power button does nothing.
Could this be related to decreasing storage capacity and it's not able to use as much virtual memory? Currently I have roughly 500mb free on the internal storage, and around 100mb on the 8gb sd card.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
**Update** I now have 3gb of space on my sd card; it seems I had a ridiculous amount of US maps installed on my phone, where I will not be travelling to anytime soon. I will advise if this makes any difference.
