Help Touch Screen Stops Responding, But Only Upper Half

Occasionally, several times a day, the upper half of my touch screen stops responding. If I rotate it, then that half remains unresponsive. A reboot often fixes it, but it just comes back. I am about ready to do a factory reboot, but I am not sure if it is a hardware or software issue. Anyone hear of this issue?

You can try a hard reset, and see if that fixes it. But if I were you, I would just take it back to sprint or where ever you bought it for an exchange.
