Help Touch screen stops responding

Once in awhile my touchscreen stops responding until I hit the power button to turn off the screen and when I turn the screen back on everything is is fine. This is happening in all apps like email, browser and the dialer. It happens once in while and it is getting annoying. I think it is a hardware problem so I am going to try to get a replacement. Is anyone else having this problem?

My Touch Screen Stops Working When I Plug in the Charger, but not all the time.
Gets better when I unplug and wait a while, or power cycle.
I can live with it.

I have the same problem like once every week. I just hit the power button like you and then it works again. Shouldnt be happening but really, its not that big of deal for me as long as it can be fixed in a second. Not worth going through the replacement process for. Wish there was a fix for it though.
