Touch Spot Jumps?

Does anybody have any idea as to why my touch spot will randomly jump? I have the "Show touches" open enabled in Developer tools, so I can see where the screen is registering a touch. If I rapidly touch the screen in the same spot, I'll see it just jump, even as far as an inch, maybe an inch and a half. It doesn't just do it when rapidly touching though, I've seen it do it in regular use as well.

Any ideas?

which mytouch do you have? i can move you over to the right forum where more folks who have your phone can help you out.

If mytouch is a brand/app, I don't. My tablet is a MID M729 Android 4.0.

ok lol i thought you had the mytouch phone. ok so what is my touch spot? i'm confused on what the issue is. are you trying to calibrate the touch screen?

See attached picture. Those white spots are where I'm touching the screen. However, sometimes I'll see them not where I'm touching the screen, sometimes just barely away from my finger, sometimes an inch away. I've had it jump so far that it slid my home screen over a page.
