Touchdown - anyone using to sync email only

Is anyone using Nitrodesk Touchdown just for syncing email,
calendar and tasks and using the native exchange app for syncing contacts? I tried syncing contacts with Touchdown and then use the 'copy to phone' button, but less than half of my 2700 contacts get copied to the phone and it takes forever, even with push disabled. So I deleted my Touchdown contacts and sync contacts with the native exchange app instead which is much faster and syncs all my contacts. Any other tips or something I'm missing doing it this way?

I guess I'll answer my own question..LOL. I've been syncing contacts with the native exchange client for the last few days and it's much better than using Touchdown. It syncs much faster and groups all of your contact categories. The one advantage to Touchdown though was that it could sync contact subfolders where the native app can only sync the main contacts folder. I'm using Touchdown for email, calender and tasks however.

I use Touchdown for emails (lots of them), but don't use TD for contacts. I don't use the native app for contacts either, but it makes sense to me that your config would work fine (sorry I didn't see your post last week).

Personally, I love touchdown. I started using it due to its support for security policies way-back-when, and fell in love with their exceptional support. More than once, bugs I hit were fixed in a beta within 24 hours, and features I requested were in a beta within days. Grant it, I do hit bugs, but as I said, I run the beta from their website -- not the market version.
