"Touched By S4 version 2.0 GB27 Jelly Bean Deodexed ??

Never tried a non stock ROM, so what say ye? I like what I have read - any downsides to me just downloading it & flashing? Still on GC01 rooted stock.
 
Make a nandroid then try it and find out if you like it. If you don't, then you can go back. That is the best way to see if you will like a ROM.
 
I just tried it and liked it and also scored a 5300 on quadrant standard at 1600Mhz max clock. I just switched back to a stock GC01 because I didn't like how it says touched by an s4 on the lock screen, but im just really pickey about that kind of stuff because I want everything to look stock.

It seems like their might have been some other performance tweaks on it though because the stock rom seems less responsive, and also I miss the new TW skin/theme so im wanting to switch back now.

Does anyone know if there is a way to get the s4 skin by itself in just a flashable zip or something?

Yea look on XDA I download a zip for it acouple of weeks ago...........
 
I actually Just installed it a couple days ago and its beatiful and run with absolutely no issue. Everthing works including GPS. Just make sure to follow the thread for fixing MMS which is really easy to fix. I was using baked bean before that and im so glad i made the switch back to a TW rom.
 
I flashed it and wiped cache and dalvik but it didnt work. Its not that big of a deal though I mainly just wanted the d s4 dialer skin.
 
Well figured I would try this out this weekend, not bad, it does have some goodies in it I like, runs very smooth and like the idea its can be overclocked lol.....;)
 
we all have our preferences. with this phone i love tw. with the epic 4g i used cyanogen ive used touched for sometime now also loved jellyverse
 
Thinking bout trying this ROM tonight. Can anyone let me know whether it has the option to play next notifications during calls? My current ROM either doesn't or I can't find it and it's causing me some drama with the ladies when I'm on the phone with one and not answering texts from another LOL

LMAO well I don't have your problem(lucky guy lol) but im assuming it does because it has a widget color for it or its just the incoming color but mine is a different color than this, check it out.................;)

I have to say its the best TW rom out there, it does run buttery smooth, fast, OCed and a lot of cool stuff, a lot more than most but the only thing, in dock mode cant get it to flip lol, my case has a stand that kicks out so you can set it on your desk and don't see a setting for when its in lock screen to flip horizontal and the drop down toggle doesn't work in lock screen like a lot of the aosp roms do, other than that its one of my favs.........:D
 
My connection optimizer keeps force close I want to turn it off and also when I was on this rom before there was a video player on here that would let you pop it up in a little box and let you watch it and do other stuff it is not on here anymore
 
The default video player for GB27 (even the original leaked one has it) will allow you to make the video play in a floating box. I know you should be able to put it back from a backup or pulling it out of the rom and pushing it to your phone. The network Optimizer is in settings/wireless and networks/mobile networks. You can also freeze/remove the app with Titanium Backup.
 
It is called Sprint connections optimizer. Scroll down to the sprint stuff in TB. The name is long so it will be a bit truncated in the list of applications that TB shows.

Connection Optimizer is already removed in TBSGS4, that is why it force closes
